The 57 m tower is located at the coastline of the Baltic Sea at the Immanuel Kant Baltic University's (IKBFU) Scientific and Practical Base (Kaliningrad Oblast, Pionersky, Pybnoe Settlement). Currently contains "fast" acoustic anemometer mounted at 36 m level and "slow" meteorological equipment (including solar radiation).
Funding: Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Very Important Innovative Project for Development of the Unified Monitoring System for Climatically Active Substances.
